In this adventure, Nancy, who is visiting her Aunt Eloise, investigates the chilling murder of a widely disliked student, Jake Rogers.
As Nancy, aged 17 or 18, you navigate using a point-and-click interface that allows examination and manipulation of the game's many objects. This two-CD murder mystery is based on the Nancy Drew character first seen in Edward Stratemeyer's novels, written under the pen name Carolyn Keene.
Nancy Drew: Tomb of the Lost Queen is loosely based on a book called The Secrets of the Nile (1995). There are two levels of play, amateur sleuth and Master modes, each offering a different level of difficulty of the puzzles and hints, however, none of these changes affect the actual plot of the game.
